Area 09 was original "Southern Coastal California Area", and referred to as "Panel 2" when it separated from the Southern California Area (SCCA - Area 05) in October 1959.
Agendas 1970-1979
An official vote in May 1971 changed the area name from "Southern Coastal California Area" to "Panel 2". In August 1971 the Area Committee members voted to adopt the official name "Mid-Southern California Area).
